With windows audio selected you will not be able to record while listening to previous tracks (in my knowledge).ġ. With the mic selected you will not be able to listen to tracks you previously recorded while recording new ones. The problem with this, your interface (USB mic in your case) needs to be able to handle input and output signals or you will constantly find yourself switching between sound cards. Thing is, 1.5 would allow you to configure multiple sound cards and 3.0 will not as it is geared for ASIO (which 1.5 did not support).
